Mid-year Adventure with FOD

The end of the mid-year winter break saw many of our Year 4 kids catch up at RushHQ adventure park.

They climbed Mt Madness, tackled the gauntlet and tested their skills in the ninja park and jump factory.

The event was organized by FOD to once again encourage families to engage and grow together in a greater school community. We were blessed with 71 happy kids enjoying the end of school holidays and ready to jump into a wonderful Term 3.

Serving the Community

Mums in Business is for Christian mums from the school community who are running any type of business to meet, connect and support each other.

It's held in the FOD lounge from 8:30-10:00 on selected Friday mornings each term.

The Second-hand Uniform Shop is managed by Friends of Donvale as part of our service to the community. The shop on campus opens on specified dates during each term. Here are the remaining dates for Term 3, 2023:

• Friday 4 August 8am - 10am
• Wednesday 23 August 2pm  - 4pm
• Friday 1 September 8am - 10am

... for a Father’s Day movie and pizza night on Wednesday 13 September (the very last day of term!) from 6pm to 8:30pm.

Join in with FOD ...

Remember - FOD activities, whether blessing kids or just serving our community, only happen because parents like you volunteer their time and enthusiasm! So if you fancy joining in with any of these activities, we'd love to hear from you.

The best way to do this is to join our Volunteers WhatsApp group. When you volunteer for a FOD event, you must have a valid Working With Children Check and have completed the simplified online Basic Volunteer Course. It really is simple!
