Prep 100 Days of School

Last Friday, our Preps celebrated 100 Days of School. The atmosphere was full of joy and energy as the children excitedly entered their classrooms in colourful T-shirts decorated with 100 'things'. The children engaged in various activities that celebrated the BIG100. Thank you to our wonderful Prep teachers and support staff (Miss Wirth, Miss Bilney and Mrs Toomey) and to all the other staff members who helped set up the day.

Thank you to all the parents who helped with the different activities throughout the morning. It was a lot of fun!

World Principals' Day

Last Friday we celebrated World Principals' Day and recognised the efforts and contributions that our wonderful Principal, Mr Weekes, makes for our school. Mr Weekes was showered with heartfelt cards and messsages from the students throughout the day and enjoyed a delicious Morning Tea with the Staff.

National Science Week 12-20 August

Next week is National Science Week. The school theme for National Science Week in 2023 is Innovation: Powering Future Industries. The theme incorporates the advancement in technology in all industries, especially using artificial intelligence (AI). Below are some DIY science activities that you may want to try at home with your child/ren.

Light Fountain

How can you trap a laser beam in a stream of water? Total internal reflection is used to transmit light in fibre optics, but light can also be steered by water.
