Whole School House Cross Country Day
Last Friday in perfect conditions we held our first Whole school house cross country carnival. The students ran a course that travelled around the school grounds with the starting and finish line on the oval. The Foundation and Level 1 students also participated in a tabloid sports carnival after they had finished their races.
You couldn’t help but admire the determination and enthusiasm of all the students. They have worked so hard this term on building their long-distance running skills. All our competitors should feel so proud of their achievements.
After a tremendously enjoyable and competitive day of competition Hydro were crowned this year’s House Cross Country Champions for the second year in a row. I would like to thank our amazing teachers and wonderful families for all the help and support on the day. It was fantastic to see the Rangeview community back together. Special thanks to Noel Jones Mitcham for the coffee cart and continued support of our whole school events!
