New - Harmony Week Prayer

We came together this morning as we commence Harmony Week. We sang the National Anthem, raised the flags, and prayed together for Harmony Day/Week. We also sang happy birthday as we ran out of time at assembly on Friday.

New - Prayer at St Mel's

At St. Mel's we pray in lots of different ways. One way we love to pray is through prayer journaling. 

This is a quiet time when we reflect, draw, write, talk to God. We have been focussing on our lenten journey towards Easter the last couple of weeks, when our students have been thinking about how we can follow in Jesus' footsteps, through prayer, fasting & almsgiving. 

New - Second Week of Lent

Project Compassion 2022

Project Compassion Boxes have been sent home, with a pamphlet about Caritas' Project Compassion Appeal. We encourage you to put your compassion into action this Lent through your prayer, fasting and almsgiving by supporting Project Compassion. Each family has received a Project Compassion box for their donations or you can donate online via the Caritas Australia website at: lent.caritas.org.au. 

This isn't the only way to support, you may be able to support in other ways, like through prayer.
