College News

The NSW Government has announced updates to COVID-19 safety measures for schools. They include:

Twice-a-week Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) for students and staff will not continue after Friday 25 February but a further 8 RATs will be given per student and staff, but from Monday 28 February families can choose how they use the tests.

  • For Secondary schools, from Monday 28 February, masks will no longer be mandatory for secondary students and staff.
  • From Monday 28 February, students will no longer be required to be kept in year groups or other cohorts. The College is looking at the best process and timeline to transition students back to vertical Homegroups.
  • From Monday 28 February, visitors to the school will be allowed back on site regardless of their vaccination status.
  • Whilst it is not mandatory, wearing a mask is encouraged indoors and for staff, students, visitors and volunteers in outdoor high traffic spaces or where physical distancing is not possible.

More Information is available here. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our families for your support with COVID safety practices at the College. At this time, when there are positive cases amongst staff and students, we strongly encourage continuation of COVID safe practices.

Please be assured that the safety and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority.
