Year 9 Photography

Students in Year 9 photography have recently been practicing and refining their use of light and composition to produce portraits and still life images in class. By limiting themselves to household equipment, the students are learning the benefits of restrictions in artistic practice. As Orson Welles said, “the enemy of art is the absence of limitations.”
