Shooting

This week saw the first Calrossy Target Shooting activity led by Mr McDonald. The introductory activities will see students come and try shooting before deciding to join a team moving forward. Students were outstanding in listening to the safety briefing provided, and then showed great skill once the shooting began. We are excited about getting more students into the activity and eagerly await the opportunity to test our skills in a future inter-school competition.

Netball

7- 9 Netball trials were held on the weekend with students been placed in teams ready for the competition start times.

Keep an eye on the Netball page of the Hub for registration details this week!

Cricket

Saturday Cricket came to an end on the weekend. Our Year 8/9 team, and our 9/10 team both went down in competitive games against Farrer. Year 7 Cricket continues on Friday afternoons.

Swimming

Unfortunately, Calrossy was prevented heading to HRIS Swimming due to flooding on the highway at Singleton. Some of our athletes were able to attend, with Amelia Simm winning all her events and taking out Age Champion at the carnival. Zoe Rudder secured a 3rd in Breaststoke, while Matthia Rudder was just outside the podium in all of the 50m events.
