Boite Schools Chorus

Hi everyone, 

Have you heard about Trinity’s exciting new Choir project? Fourteen students from Trinity will be singing with the Boite Schools Chorus in a spectacular massed choir concert on August 3rd, at Melbourne Town Hall.

On Sunday, Ms Bernadette and Ms Belinda took fourteen of our students to a rehearsal, along with other schools from across Melbourne. We had a great afternoon together and we were very proud our students. They really enjoyed learning about the Torres Strait Island’s music and it was a lot of fun. 

Immersed in the songs and stories of the Torres Strait Islands, The Boite Schools Chorus ‘Maiem’ offers an opportunity for students to listen, learn, experience and perform songs that share the richness and diversity of the Torres Strait Islands peoples.

The Trinity Voices choir will also learn some of the songs, and the Boite students will have their own rehearsal time each week. 

The next weekend rehearsal will be on Sunday 30th July, at the Abbotsford Convent.

We will share details of how to book tickets to see our fabulous students’ performance, once they our available.
