Tunya Jarvis, St Anne's College Advisory Council member

Hello, My Name is Tunya Jarvis and I am a parent representative on St Annes College Advisory Council.  My husband and I have 2 wonderful humans attending St Anne’s for their secondary school education.  Alick is in Year 10 and Elizabeth is in Year 8. Being part of our children’s education and being involved in the school community is very important to our family.  Being on council allows perspectives from a senior school parent within council to be shared.   

Our family enjoys being very busy running our kids around to various extracurricular activities.  Our holidays are enjoyed when possible mostly at the beach hanging in our caravan, surfing, swimming, playing cards and boardgames.   

Our family has practiced the GEM principals of The Resilience Project for many years and are very excited to see this program come to St Anne’s to help and support the wellbeing of students by teaching them the benefits of practicing Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness.
