We are looking for some donations please of clean Coles, Woollies or other brown paper shopping bags. We've discovered a way to transform these into folios we can decorate to store our work and safely bring it home. Donations can be left at the Office or brought with your child to the Art Room. House School Cross Country.

Cross Country Results 2023

Thursday May 18th, Marlborough P. S. had House Cross Country. I would like to sincerely thank all the parents, teachers, teacher aids, office staff, students who so generously gave up their time to act as officials and supporters to make the whole event run smoothly and successfully. We could not have run this event so outstanding without your help. It was so rewarding to see the whole school competitors running and trying their Personal Best. Also great to see some teachers and support staff who also put in 100 percent effort.  I believe all the children all had a fantastic time and it was great to see all the smiles as they crossed the finish line and received a ribbon plus a Zooper Dooper! Congratulations to all competitors and to FORD as the winning house, followed by Jones, Kenny and Cawley.

Camp Manyung

Camp Manyung Reflections

Flying Fox

When I was at Camp Manyung I went down  a huge flying fox. When it was finally my turn to go down the flying fox I felt scared and when I climbed up the ladder I felt worried. So I stepped over the set and got harnessed up and then went zooming down through the air. as I was going down I could see lots of trees andn I could hear birds chirping. at the end I felt like I was going to fall off the flying fox but I felt fine and it turned out to be fun and not scary.         By Liara

The Giant Swing

I wa slowly heading up then I said

"STOP!"and I stopped. I was on the Giant Swing at Camp Manyung.

"Brace yourself!" I yelled. I tried to pull the rope but nothing happened.

"Other side!" Pea told me. I pulled the other side of the rope and WOOSH! I fell through the air. I felt so excited but yet so scared and of course I felt sick. People started to walk the rope back. The wind was blowing in my face. The sea was so beautiful with the waves crashing on the beach. I could also see the amazing trees swishing in the wind. I could not wait to tell my sister about this.   by Lily

The Big Swing

At Camp Manyung on a humid morning we were going on the big swing. It was big. When it was my go Pea hooked me up. I was going up to the top. I could see the ocean. I released the rope and I went down and up and I stopped.  By Jordy

Flying Fox

I saw the ladder. It looked like it was getting higher and higher up. The platform looked squishy and small. I started to climb the ladder. I heard creaking sounds every step of the way. As I was climbing, I felt my heart beating faster and faster. I started to feel like I was going to throw up. Finally, I got to the platform. I got buckled up by Flynn. I got on the seat and took off. As I was zooming through the air, I was about to fall off the seat. At the end, I felt very proud of myself. By Sophie.

Tree Rolling

Tree Rolling was fun. I saw the punching course and people screaming because of how high they were. It was so much fun! By Ryker.

The Big Swing

I could hear the birds chirping and everybody pulling me up. Pea and everybody yelled, "3 2 1!" I pulled the latch and saw the wavy blue sea. I also saw Mrs Mackney fall. I felt calm and relaxed when I was swinging. I stopped and climbed down. I felt happy after the big swing. I thought, this is fun and I wish it went longer. By Maria.

Tree Rolling

At camp, my highlight was the Tree Rolling, because it was fun! There was a mini zipline and we had fun challenges like ‘walk backwards’ and ‘close your eyes.’  On the third day we did The Amazing Race inside the camp and we found all the clues and finished the tasks and came first! By Isabella

Giant Swing

At camp, my favourite activity was the Giant Swing, because I didn’t know what would happen. We also went Tree Rolling, where we were all clipped into a harness and went around an obstacle course 9 meters off the ground. Then we went on the Flying Fox and it was super long and fun and running it back to the start was tiring but lots of fun too! By Oscar

Flying Fox

On Monday, 22nd May we went to camp. The first thing I saw was the basketball court and the tennis court. I loved the flying fox because I was going so fast and I was so high up. I also love the Giant Swing because I loved going full height and the big dip at the end was awesome. I loved the Tree Rolling because we did the zipline at the end. I loved the Gaga Ballpit because we had so many people playing. By Lachlan A

Flying Fox

On camp, my favourite activity was the Flying Fox, because when I went on the Flying Fox, it felt like I was flying through the air and then you have to run all the way back with the rope and that was fun too! By Harkeerat

Flying Fox

There I was on the Flying Fox bench. I was waiting for Camden to finish on the Flying Fox. The bench was in a big pine tree and I could smell the tree bark and leaves. Flynn, the instructor started to play a guessing game to pass the time, I could see that I was 9 metres off the ground, and I started to feel shaky. All of a sudden I heard Camden getting off the flying fox. It was exciting waiting for my turn. Finally I got on the flying fox, and it was so awesome. By Cooper H

Giant Swing

At camp my favourite activity was the giant swing, because the drop was so much fun and I felt like I was flying. By Arcadia

Giant Swing

On camp, there were lots of activities. My favourite was the Giant Swing! People have to pull you up with a rope and then you fall like you are flying! There was also Tree Rolling and you are up in the trees and it is so much fun! The zipline was really cool too! Amy K
