If no mistake you have made, but losing you are. A different game you should play.

Welcome to the first edition of a new look newsletter for 2021. All of us will appreciate that 2020 was an unusual year and in the process of all that was taking place one of the things that got overlooked was the newsletter. In the interim we tried to get information out to our community through other channels and we believe we were quite successful in doing so. Analysis of the newsletter readership and reach has identified that on the whole only a few core pages were being accessed. Accordingly, we have decided to try something a little different with the newsletter for the next little while. The core features being;
- fewer pages
- editions in Week 4 & 8 of term
- more photos of what has been happening
Just to bring us all up to speed I officially welcome the following permanently appointed members of staff who were successful in gaining promotion in the latter half of 2020.
Dan Williams - Deputy Principal
Hannah Grills - Head of Middle School
Greg Wood - Head of Senior School
As always lots of work took place at the school during the school vacation;
- new access ramps to two blocks
- new shed facility on the school farm
- new fencing at the school farm both on external boundaries and internal fencing
- laying of synthetic turf on the Junior School quad
- removal of trees causing building damage on western boundary
- revamp of the entrance gardens area
- upgrade of staffroom facilities
Whilst we are still restricted in activities that can take place things are steadily improving - we ask for your assistance in following guidelines of the day - chief of which is that parents are still generally asked not to come onto school grounds.
I would like to congratulate our school leaders for 2021;
Captains - Abby Taylor & Dean Vickery
Vice-Captains - Melanie French & Fraser Westley
I also commend them on the theme for 2021 - 'Pave Your Way'.
As always if you have any questions about what is happening at the school don't hesitate to contact the school. We hope that 2021 sees a return to what might be a new normal and a happy and successful year for all.
Until next time, take care and cherish your children.

The willingness to learn is a choice.
