Stay COVID safe

Our school is open for those students:

*who cannot be educated at home

*whose parents and carers are essential workers.

There is minimal supervision available on site to support these students.

All other students must stay at home, learning from home, as directed by the NSW Health Public Health Order.

Thank you for supporting our teaching and school community to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Follow health advice and keep your child home if they are unwell.

Gymnastics

Most Friday afternoons this term we will be participating in Gymnastics classes. These classes will be led by Karen and Sam from North Coast Gymnastics. We started last week with basic positions and strengthening exercises. It was fun and challenging as the photos reveal!

Tennis

We will be starting tennis sessions this Tuesday afternoon, and these will run for the rest of the term. Time will be from 1 to 2pm. Please ensure your child has appropriate footwear for this and all activities at school. We do fitness and they play outside every day and it is important to have correctly fitted and comfortable running shoes.

Athletics Carnivals

A small but enthusiastic group of students attended the Athletics Carnival at Riverview Park a couple of weeks ago.

We are all very proud of their effort at the carnival and thank you to parents for supporting the event, even though unable to attend due to COVID restrictions.

Our relay team was very successful in the small schools category and we have been invited to enter a team at the next level Zone Athletics carnival, once again at Riverview Park in South Lismore. This will be held on Friday, 20th August from 8.30. Our four relay team members will be Sonic, Marshall, Zai and Issi with Talan and Imogen as our very fast reserves. Good luck! Notes have gone home with more information.
