An invitation to record

All students are invited to make a recording of a work that they have been preparing and send it via Teams to Mr Hiscock.  Recordings should include video and audio, and students should be in their winter school uniform.  Mr Hiscock will endeavour to prepare a compilation of the best performances to be released for the school community to view.  When making a video recording of a performance it is essential to do a ‘sound check’ and ‘video check’, to make sure that the sound quality is good and that the video is well framed.  Mobile phones are often the simplest, and often the best device for recording. Make sure that the film is always taken in landscape and eliminate any background noise by setting up your recording in an appropriate space and at an appropriate time.

The latest lockdown has meant the cancellation of the Hamilton Eisteddfod Special events in Dance and Music, as well as the Hamilton Symphony Orchestra Concert planned for later this term.
