Parents & Friends

Dear parents and and friends of our school community,

It is with great regret that I once again have to inform that you we have made the difficult decision not to make Christmas cakes. Sadly this is two years in a row. This is such a great fundraiser and a fantastic way of involving many people in the process but given that we have no certainty about COVID restriction levels, it is best that we defer this activity for another year. The amount of work and produce involved in the set up, and the need to have parents and friends to be together in the same place makes this activity untenable at present. The More Food With Friends recipe book sales remain strong which is fabulous as we have had no other opportunity for fundraising activities in the current circumstances!

On a positive note, the school tuck shop has had excellent support from parent helpers. Thank you to everyone that has helped this year! We have some new reforms in the pipeline to the tuck shop in consultation with Sally, including the set up and use of contactless payment. Once we go back to onsite learning, please continue your support of tuck shop duty - it’s a great way to be involved when we have had such limited opportunity.

As we have had little activity in 2021, we have decided (if restrictions allow) to have a social event in Term 4. Stay tuned for more details, it would be great to get our community together before the end of the year.

I hope you are all staying well and hope that our Year 11 and 12’s are navigating their way successfully through the home learning process again! Take care everyone.

Kind regards,

Keri Ross
