SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM

Unfortunately due to the current lock down, Sacramental lessons have been postponed. Further information will be sent to parents from the Parish Office.  We thank families for their patience and understanding as the Parish works their way through the challenges, possibilities and frustrations  of this time.  

 VINNIES SLEEPOUT

The sleepout with again take place virtually this year.  Families are encouraged to join together and experience what it may be like to be homeless, whilst at home.  The sleep out is scheduled for August 27th.  Here is a link the NSW Vinnies Community Sleepout page.  The Armidale Vinnies Community have their own Sleep Out page (linked here) that you can use to register your family and join with the rest of Armidale in this worthy cause.  Using this page your funds will stay in our local community.   

Windows

This is an uplifting story of how humanity has pulled together during the Coronavirus pandemic.  The author Patrick Guest uses his own experience of having to leave the family home due to his son’s Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.    Windows shares the story of how five kids from different parts of the world connect and draw strength from their communities, from behind the safety of their own windows.  Windows reminds us all that God has created us as loving, supportive people who are their for each other at all times, not matter what life throws at us.  Remember that as part of God's wonderful family around the world we also have the complete love of our wonderful God to sustain us through these times of difficulty.  Never lose sight of the fact we are never alone - God is always with us!
