Build a bird feeder to learn about birds!

As part of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) learning experience this week, the Senior students built bird feeders to attract birds in their neighbourhood and learn about them.

"We measured how long the string needed to be to hang the bird feeder. We also used fractions to find out how much bird food we needed, and capacity to measure how much water to use." (Izaiah & Piper)

FOOTY FUN DAY

Please send a video of yourself receiving a football and kicking or hand passing it out from one side of the screen to the other. RECORD THE VIDEO LANDSCAPE. 

Please send your video to Kristy at kgalea@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au by Monday afternoon. Try to be as funny as possible and wear crazy clothes or your footy team's colours.

Wear:   Your footy, soccer, rugby… team colours, sports tops and runners so you can do the sport activities comfortably.  

And your teachers will organise for you to come online to take a photo!!
