Division Swimming

Division Swimming Sports

The Division Swimming Sports were held on Thursday 9th March at the Monash Aquatic Centre. It was a beautiful 30-degree day and alongside 40 keen swimmers from the College they were ready to compete and display their outstanding talent in the water. The morning began with breaststroke, butterfly, freestyle, and then finally followed by backstroke. To end the already exciting day, the medleys and relays took place, which were thrilling to watch.

The whole day was a huge success with 29 students winning their events, resulting in those students qualifying through to the  Regional finals, to be held on Tuesday 28th March at Aquanation in Ringwood. Overall, Wantirna College finished in second place to Upwey High School, with Rowville Secondary College finishing third.
