Badminton Tournament
| Week 6 - Week 10
The first Suzanne Cory-exclusive badminton tournament will commence this year, from Week 6, Term 3 to Week 1, Term 4. While the inter-school badminton season has come to a close, keep your competitive spirits up on our own courts! Participating students may refer to Compass for the tournament format and schedule.
Second Series Soiree
| Tuesday, 3 September
The Second Series music Soiree will be held on the evening of Tuesday, 3 September at 6pm in the SCHS Agora. Come along and support our music students as they and their Instrumental Music Teachers provide some wonderful music in solo, duo and small group settings in a range or different idioms and genre, proudly supported by the Wyndham Council as a part of the Wyndham Learning Festival.
Westgate Concert Band
| Sunday, 8 September
The SCHS Concert Band performs with the renowned Westgate Concert Band on Sunday, 8 September at 2:00 pm in the SCHS Auditorium. This free concert promises to be full of fantastic music making for our students, and is open to all friends and family of Suzanne Cory High School to attend.
Duke of Ed. Practice Camp
| Wed, 4 - Thurs, 5 Sept
The Duke of Edinburgh Practice Camp will take place at Suzanne Cory from Wednesday, September 4 to Thursday, September 5, ahead of the qualifying camp in October. All participating students should refer to the event on Compass for more details.
HAPE Week | Week 9
| Mon 9 - Friday 12 Sept
This year's HAPE Week coincides with National Health and Physical Education Day on Friday, 12 September! A variety of lunchtime activities will run with a focus on physical and mental health and wellbeing including a staff vs student table tennis competition and Jump Rope for Heart. Whole School Exams
| Week 10
Whole school exams will run from Monday, September 16 to Friday, September 20 (Week 10) across all year levels. Please be aware that no regular classes will run this week.
Year 10 Social
| Friday, 20 September
This year's Year 10 Social will be held on the last day of Term 3 - Friday, 20 September - and take in stunning views of docklands and the Yarra River promenade aboard a private dance cruise. Check Compass for more information in the coming weeks.
Last Day of Term 3
| Friday, 20 September
Parents and students are reminded that the last day of Term 3 is Friday, September 20. Enjoy your September holiday break! Term 4 commences on Monday, October 7th.
Presentation Night 2019
| Wednesday, 9 October
The 2019 Presentation Night will be held on the evening of Wednesday, 9 October, at the Melbourne Town Hall. Parents and families are invited to save the date, as tickets will go on sale during Week 10. Please be aware that this is a compulsory whole school event, and that student attendance at Presentation Night is expected.
