Aspiring Beaumaris Secondary College Artists

We are excited to offer our 2019 Artist in Residence Program with Rhiannon Slater, professional photographic artist. Students are invited to apply for this cocurricular program that will run one session each week in Term 3 culminating in the Art Show Exhibition. Students selected for the program will work with a professional photographer to gain insight into the artistic process and use digital photography to create and install artworks at the college.

We are inviting you to create an interesting photograph of a geometric shape you find in your environment and submit it for consideration into the program.

For example, a square, rectangle, triangle, circle, oval or triangle whether large or small. at home, school or in between. These shapes appear in many aspects of our built and natural environment; with careful observation you will probably find them everywhere.

A fantastic opportunity awaits for 26 budding artists.
