Big Life

Hello, I am Danielle Willis and I am currently coordinating the Big Life program at Warrnambool College while Melanie Shultz is on family leave. I moved to Warrnambool from the Mornington Peninsula in 2009 when I began a position at The School for Student Leadership, Gnurad-Gundidj Campus. After having children of my own I began working casually at the Warrnambool Special Developmental School and part time as the Science teacher at Hamilton Parklands School. I am passionate about teaching life skills such as resilience and respectful relationships, to all ages and abilities. I am very excited to be involved in the Big Life program and to be a staff member here at Warrnambool College.

The Big Life program have a very exciting event coming up in August, the Warrnambool Wellbeing Week, which is a fantastic opportunity for all students and parents to get involved. Take a look here http://abiglife.net/wellbeing-week.html to see all the fantastic key note speakers from around Australia who will share practical strategies for mental health promotion and positive parenting. During the week a variety of content will be delivered to Primary and Secondary students, parents, carers, sporting clubs and the wider community. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!
