Its show time!

After months of singing, stepping, sewing, and scene setting … it’s time for the show to sparkle.  Warrnambool College will very proudly present ‘Strictly Ballroom the Musical’ over four public shows Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd August.

In only 2 weeks’ time 50 plus talented students and a team of dedicated staff will setup shop in the Lighthouse Theatre and bring the 90s cult hit film, about a dancer who defies the rules to follow his heart, to life.

The show is full of ‘fair dinkum’ Aussie humour with music that will evoke strong and youthful flashbacks to anyone over the age of 30 and dazzle all with its dance.

Some year levels from Warrnambool East Primary, Jammo and Merrivale Primary schools are excitedly coming to the Thursday matinee and our schools Year 7’s will attend the Friday matinee. These afternoon shows are great options to bring younger siblings or grandparents too!

From the cast, band, crew and production team we would really appreciate your support in coming along to see the show and cheering on the amazing effort by all. You may even find yourself singing along to the timeless classics ‘Time after Time’ & ‘Love is in the Air’.
