Thank you to leaving staff

Congratulation to Mrs Kaylene Duffin on her appointment as the Acting Principal at Helensburgh in 2020. She will be greatly missed by our whole community and especially those students she has supported with pastoral needs. Kaylene has been a great support to all staff, and a wonderful professional support to me as Principal. Kaylene brings her warm personality and great joy to the school and we will look forward to her return.

Very special thanks to Miss Anna Marks and Mr Kurt Phipps who will be leaving St Joseph's this year.  We wish them  every success for the future and thank them for their contribution to the learning of students in their classes.

Mr Nathan Sherry has accepted a twelve month position as a Middle Leader at Mittagong. This is a wonderful opportunity for Nathan and I thank him for not only his excellence as a classroom teacher but also in his additional role at the learning technologies coordinator.

Mrs Karyn Paull has been a School Support Officer (SSO) at St Joseph's this year and has worked closely with many students and their teachers. Karyn will return in 2020 as a casual SSO on occasion.

Leap Into Learning 2020

Yesterday students spent time in their classrooms for 2020. This is always an exciting time when student meet their new teachers.

All students were given a letter for parents and carers containing information about their new teacher, resource requirements for 2020 and school fee information.

2020 School Fees

For your convenience, the  2020 School Fees are listed below.

There are three levels of annual fees to be paid:

  1. Tuition Fees- paid per family and not per student.
  2. Primary School SEDSO Building & Maintenance Levy
  3. School Resource Fees and Activities Levy set by each school.

All families are asked to read the attached information regarding payments of 2020 School Fees and are requested to the complete the attached form (Request to Pay via Instalments Form) and returned as soon as possible.  A hard copy of this form will be sent home with students tomorrow.

All student activity levies include all costs except the Swimming Carnival and  Gala Days.  These items will be billed separately through EVENTS on the COMPASS Parent Portal.
