The key responsibilities of my portfolio are to be present throughout all aspects of the College, build relationships with students from all years, strive to be a positive role model for all and further develop the sense of community at the College. I also have the privilege of leading the Student Leadership Team, as well as the class of 2022, to implement various initiatives and make 2022 a great year.

What are you most excited about in your leadership portfolio?

I really look forward to working alongside Blake and Adrian, as well as everyone in the College community to build upon the longstanding history of the College. I am excited to constantly be present throughout all grades and make myself approachable and known to all students from all years.

What is something about you that others may be surprised to know?

I have recently started playing the Kalimba, and I can also play the Saxophone and Piano.

What would be a good theme song for your life? Why?

Eye of the Tiger by Survivor- At the core of the song is a message of ‘rising up to the challenge’ and a mentality of never giving up! This is one that resonates with me as no matter how difficult the challenge that I am faced with may be, I always try my hardest to constantly rise up to it and achieve my best.

If you could visit one country in the world, where would you go? Why?

Iceland because of its stunning natural beauty and recognition as one of the safest and most peaceful countries in the world. Aside from its extensive list of natural attractions, it is a country that strives to achieve equality for all, which is why I would want to visit it someday.

What are your interests outside of school?

I am a passionate Formula 1 fan; I also really enjoy water sports and have a strong interest in boating.

Hall of Fame – The Script

This song would be a good theme song for my life as it speaks about the results and opportunities that hard work and belief can bring, which is something that I constantly think about and strive to follow. It is a constant reminder to me and others to keep working hard even when no one is watching because one day, everyone will see you succeed on the big stage.

I think visiting a country like India would be a great experience. Learning about their culture and way of life would be so interesting.

What are your interests outside of school?

Outside of school, I love to play sport and get outdoors to exercise. I love listening to music and I like to cook in my spare time.

Late Arrival to School

Parents/carers and students are reminded that if they arrive late for school, a note must be provided in the days following, explaining the reason for the lateness. If students arrive late, prior to 8:55 AM, they should move directly to Homeroom to have their name and lateness recorded. If arriving after 8:55 AM, students are to sign in late at Reception using their College ID Card.

Applications for Leave in Term 4 2021

With the approaching end of the academic year, parents/carers are reminded that ordinarily, the College requires at least four weeks’ notice of Applications for Leave; this includes requests for the final day of the academic year, Friday 3 December. As indicated in previous years, it is an expectation that all students attend school for the Annual Prize-Giving and Speech Ceremony on Thursday 2 December. If a student does not have a valid reason for being absent from this event or the final day of the academic year, they will be required to complete a Community Service.

The forms for Application for Leave and Exemption from Attendance are available on the College’s website for parents/carers to download, complete, and return to Mr Simpson, Director of Wellbeing.

Attendance in 2022

Parents/carers are advised of the following key dates for events in 2022. Given the generous school holidays provided during the year, it is expected that students are attending school for these key events and that parents/carers do not seek Leave on these occasions.
