College News

From Our College Captains

This year has been filled with many trials and tribulations. However, once again, our College community has demonstrated their unwavering resilience and perseverance in such an unpredictable time. It has been our honour to represent the College this year — and to lead such a dignified student body.

We wish to thank our peers for their unyielding support this year as we navigated these unpredictable times. Staff, students and families alike have demonstrated tremendous perseverance and flexibility in adapting to remote learning. We wish to thank the teachers and staff for all their dedication and guidance that helped us to traverse this difficult year.

Finally, we wish the class of 2021 all the best for their future endeavours, and hope that they continue to embody the College Values of Strength and Kindliness as they move into the exciting next stage of life.

On behalf of the graduating class of 2021 we wish all students, staff and the College community as a whole, the very best for the coming years. May you prosper in 2022, and may the following year bring you many achievements, joy and hope.

New Break Time Equipment

This week, there has been a sea of colour flying around the play spaces at school. The PE and Health team, with the support of the Wellbeing team, have delivered a wide variety of age-appropriate equipment to all of the year level spaces for use during breaks. This will be an ongoing initiative for the students to take advantage of. Each space has a tracking sheet to allow students to sign out equipment. We are encouraging students to take responsibility for the equipment and be able to use it and return it back to the classroom at the end of break time.

If you notice a piece of equipment has accidentally made its way home, please send it back to school or drop it off at the front office. All equipment is clearly labelled with the year level and 'St. Augs.'
