Where are your library books?

It is almost the end of the year and we are looking for our Library books. We have started doing our stocktake where we check all the books with the records on our computer system. Students will get reminders from their teachers during November so that we can have all the books returned ready for Early Commencement when students begin work for 2022 in their new classes.

We would really appreciate your help in checking what you might have at home which has a St Augustine’s College barcode on the front cover. This shows it is a book belonging to the school. There will also be stamps inside with the school’s name on it (check page 13).

Read a good book lately?

This week I sat down on the Library mat to read a book to a boy who had borrowed it to take home. The group listening to the story grew from two students to ten in no time. The book was “Do not open this book, or else” by Andy Lee and is so much fun because each page has the monster ask us not to turn the page. Of course the students say “Yes, Yes!” and so we turn the page.
