Around The Primary

Dear Parents

Welcome back!

Wow – what a day! Our Grandparents’ Picnic was a huge success!  We want to say a big thank you to one and all, for your most amazing support of this special event. It really was a super day, with a positive and happy atmosphere that rippled through the library courtyard and surrounding areas.

The staff and I spoke to many happy grandparents, and they all commented how wonderful it was and were so thankful and appreciative. We have also received a lot of positive emails about the entertainment on show, the changes we are making to our buildings and the wonderful school spirit that is so vibrant and community focussed. The students had a fabulous time and enjoyed spending their lunch time with their special guests.

On Thursday afternoon, the Year 5B students accompanied by Mr Fromm, Miss Graves, Miss Di Stefano, Mrs Reddell, Miss Hubbard, Ms Moore and Ms Kidd departed for Zoo Camp. A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff, who once again went ‘above and beyond’ to be able to provide this special opportunity for our students. We look forward to handing over some tired, well fed, and resilient campers to you this afternoon.

Special thanks to all those that completed the survey regarding the starting time of the Mother's Day and Father's Day Eucharistic Celebrations.  As most families indicated they would prefer 7:30am for both of these celebrations, we will go ahead with this for next year.

Kind regards,

Visual Arts Exhibition

The College’s Visual Art Exhibition runs from Monday 18 October (Opening Night) to Saturday 23 October 2021 featuring artwork from both Secondary and Primary students.

Students participating in Visual Art lessons from Year 3-6 will have a piece of artwork exhibited and a small selection from some Early Learning and Junior Primary students will also be displayed. It is a great opportunity for parents and the community to view artwork across all years and for students to showcase their artwork.

Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the students design and creativity with both 2D and 3D work from a range of forms being exhibited and I look forward to seeing many of you throughout the week.
