Dunhelen

Welcome Back

It is wonderful to have all our students back. The Dunhelen students have settled in very well and are all eager to make connections with their peers and teachers once again. Teachers are delighted to be surrounded by these young, happy people.

2022 Leadership Interviews

Interviews for 2022 leadership positions will be commencing next week. Please note, there is a selection process and not all students who nominated will be interviewed. Expressions of interest are many and it would not be possible to interview all students. Students who are interviewed are students who have demonstrated a respect for College values, have good communication skills, have been involved in a variety of areas of College life and have displayed resilience and perseverance in all areas. It will not be an easy task to select our 2022 leaders and I wish all applicants the best.

8M World Expo

After a long wait, Year 8M were able to hold their World Expo. The students presented their ideas and work to others. It was wonderful to see the creativity and effort of our students.

Remembrance Service

This week we remembered those who have fallen in war. We commemorated with a small service during our assembly this week and held a one-minute silence on Thursday morning, at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Lest We Forget.

Year 7, 2022 Orientation Day

This week we were very fortunate to be able to hold our Orientation Day for the 2022 Year 7 students. There were many happy, excited and nervous students. Students were able to meet their teachers and classmates and enjoyed a day participating in different subjects. A very big thank you to our student leadership team for being with us on the day, helping the new students and providing them with ‘tips and trick for life in Dunhelen’. We look forward to welcoming the students to Dunhelen in 2022.
