Music Matters

I think we are all glad that holidays are upon us. This has been a stressful and difficult time for everyone but we managed to pull through and work together. With the return of students in Week 6 next term I can announce that private music lessons will recommence at the College. There may be some difficulties for some families around this so if students have to continue learning at home they will also be able to access their music lessons.

As you may know we are returning under Level 3 Restrictions. Under these restrictions sport, choirs, bands and ensembles are not allowed to take place on school grounds. The College has therefore decided to suspend rehearsals in Weeks 6-10. This is most unfortunate but with students being at school and a restriction on students 'mingling’ there is no way to facilitate rehearsals. Obviously there will be no Twilight Christmas Concert but we are looking to have some performances to go online later in the term.
