From the College Captains and Vice Captains

This year has been a rocky start for the Year 12s as many of us have had to spend time in isolation. However we’ve had many events that brought joy to our final year of high school. 

At the start of the year we received our Year 12 jackets; everyone was so excited we wore them despite the 30 degree weather. 

The swimming carnival was a huge success; it gave the Year 12s the opportunity to enjoy the day, be it playing games with friends, relaxing or doing homework. 

The executive committee were busy planning Formal and it turned out to be a fantastic night, with lots of awards handed out, including a special award for the student who checked themselves out most in the 2 way mirror. 

The Year 12s are making the most of their newfound study periods, though many are still figuring out how to use them effectively. Many have been under pressure with multiple assessments due, however we are certainly enjoying the ability to have warm lunches and stay indoors protected from the weather.
