Year 9 Photorealism Drawings

The Year 9 Art students have explored the concept of photorealism using graphite pencils. This task focused on developing each student’s skills in manipulating tone, proportion and scale.  The students applied the ‘Grid Transfer’ technique to masterfully render a photograph into a pencil drawing. The cohort have created some truly outstanding work!

Unit 3 Point of Sales Booth

The client required a “point of sales” exhibition space to display her children’s padlock at the upcoming toy expo. The “point of sales” exhibition space must include; a small counter and two chairs for staff, and CLICK CLACK signage. Students created the 3D presentation using SketchUp. The drawing was then placed in Photoshop and adjusted to fit the found photograph.
