Semester 2 Basketball

Expression of interest for Semester 2 basketball are now being sought.

Parents are reminded that all existing players who want to continue to play, need to complete and return this form (via email or to the front office).

Year 4/5 GS Raptors

The GS Raptors had a solid 27-10 win over the St. David’s Kings Thursday afternoon.  With only 5 players available, the Raptors had no interchange and had to spend the entire game on court.  Jayden and Oscar worked well together with some fancy passing to each other that resulted in baskets, Jacob passed well and scored his own valuable baskets and Blake and Downey defended well all game.

Scorers: Jayden (13 pts), Oscar (10 pts) and Jacob (4 pts).

Year 2/3 GS Rockets

The GS Rockets took on the Prescott Panthers Wednesday afternoon.  We went in at half time down 4-9.  The team lifted in the second half with improved passing accuracy and greater defensive pressure.  We got the score to 8-11, but couldn’t get the win.  The final score was 8-15.  Inara and Shaurya performed some excellent steals, Layla drove the ball forward multiple times with her dribbling skills, Eden once again dominated the rebounds and Flynn and Nate scored handy baskets.

Scorers: Eden (4 pts), Flynn and Nate (2 pts each).
