We had a great turn out with some new parents joining us on Monday 28 March 2022 for the PFA AGM.
At the AGM, office-bearers of the PFA 2022 committee (listed below) were elected:

All others attending expressed their interest to become General Members of the committee.
Next Meeting
The PFA will hold its next monthly meeting on Monday 23 May 2022 at 7.30pm in the school staff room in the Main Office Block.

Baked Goods Sales - Parent Teacher Interview Day
PFA would like to say a big thank you to the entire EDSC community for your support in buying all the baked goodies and hot cross buns on Wednesday 30 March. Thank you to The Baker’s Delight, Pines for the hot cross buns and our own talented PFA bakers’ for the supply of delicious lemon slices, cookies, cupcakes and sausage rolls. A very big thanks to all our volunteers for working tirelessly throughout the entire afternoon until the end of the night to keep the stall going.
16 April - Bunnings Sausage Sizzle
The PFA Committee is very happy to announce that Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser is back this year at the new Bunnings Doncaster store. We are looking forward to doing multiple fundraisers there this year. Our first Sausage Sizzle is on Saturday 16 April 2022 at Bunnings Doncaster.
Please visit Bunnings Doncaster (Doncaster Road) on 16 April 2022 and support us at the stall. If anyone is willing to volunteer their help at the stall please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com. We will be grateful for the help and delighted to include you in our list of volunteers.

Letter sent by a school Principal before exams
Dear Parents,
The exams of your children are to start soon. I know you are all really anxious for your child to do well.
But, please do remember, amongst the students who will be sitting for the exams there is an artist, who doesn’t need to understand Math… There is an entrepreneur, who doesn’t care about History or English literature… There is a musician, whose Chemistry marks won’t matter… There’s an athlete, whose physical fitness is more important than Physics… If your child does get top marks, that’s great! But if your child doesn’t…please don’t take away their self-confidence and dignity from them. Tell them it’s OK, it’s just an exam! They are cut out for much bigger things in life. Tell them, no matter what they score…you love them and will not judge them.
