School Wide Positive Behaviours

Congratulations to the students above who were presented with certificates for reaching 20 individual value cards.  Well done!

Kimochis

This week students have focused on key #2 of our Kimochis Curriculum, “using a talking voice” as opposed to an aggressive, defensive or fighting tone of voice. We are noticing students use this vocabulary as reminders to others in the yard which has been pleasing to see. When we use this tone of voice we are more likely to resolve conflict in a respectful, easier way rather than making it worse by using a “fighting voice”. We will continue to coach this at school and appreciate parents and carers doing the same at home!
