Term 4

We have another jam packed term ahead!

The Prep-Year 2 students are beginning this term with a unit on Soccer, while the 3-6 students will be participating in NRL (National Rugby League). I am trying to get a key player out to help with coaching as part of their P.E lessons. These sessions will  focus on fun, teamwork ball skills and building their knowledge of the game in preparation for the NRL Rugby Gala Day to be held on Wednesday 2nd November.

Division Athletics

As shared above many of our students competed in the Division Athletics yesterday. I haven't caught up with everyone but I have had a few emails about some incredible results from our St Joseph's students.

Congratulations to Alfred who came 1st in shot put and 200m and 2nd in 100m, Matilda who won the 1500m,  Tahlia who won the 800m, Kobe who came first in the 1500m and 4th in the 200m and Lachie who came 2nd in shot put and 1st in both 100m and high jump. All these students will progress  to the next stage.

Congratulations Sonny who came 3rd in discus,

Willow who came 4th in Discus and Pia who came 3rd in Shot put.

Charlie, Ellie, Indi and Macey all performed incredidbly and should be commended for their sportsmanship and making it to this high level of competition. What an achievement!

I look forward to sharing more results with you.
