The research is out.......and the benefits are abundant! See below how being involved in your child's life and schooling can benefit both your child and YOU.

If you are a father or father-figure associated with St Joseph's School, you will soon be invited to join our St Joseph's Dads Group and have the chance to attend a multitude of fun activities. Dads Groups are run by dads, for dads and their kids – with support from The Fathering Project.  The first of these has been planned for you!

SAVE THE DATE!   Wednesday, 26th October at 5-6pm

FOR OUR FIRST EVENT - Pizza and Paper Planes Night for Fathers and Father-figures and kids

The Pizza and Paper Planes Evening is a low-impact, fun craft event where fathers, father-figures and their kids create paper planes and have a bite to eat together.

Dads Groups typically host four activities per year, two for dads only, and two with the kids. These activities provide dads with an opportunity to bond with their kids and connect with other fathers.

Activities are chosen and are generally planned by the dads in each group. Popular activities include barbecues, camping nights and dad catch-ups. Dads Groups welcome all fathers and father-figures to their activities, including uncles, big brothers, grandfathers, coaches, teachers and mentors.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE ON HOW TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT AND HOW TO JOIN THE ST JOSEPH'S DADS GROUP IN THE COMING WEEKS!
