A Message from Parents & Friends
Hi everyone,
A big thank you to our wonderful community for your support with our last fundraiser – the Trivia Night. We hope all who attended had a great evening – a massive congratulations to the winners of the evening! Thank you to everyone for your amazing support, we raised a total of $4818.95 which is going towards our multi-sport area. A big big thank you Meagan King and helpers for organising such a great evening and an impressive fit out of the gym!
Here’s what is coming up:
Father’s/ Special Person’s Day – Friday 2nd September
We can’t wait to welcome you to this event – it's going to be a wonderful afternoon celebrating you.
How it will work: your child/ren will collect your pies and drinks (and theirs) from the Kitchen (the SAKG). You are to meet your child/ren under Gumbuya between 1.15 – 1.30 and enjoy lunch and tea/ coffee before heading over to the playground/ Oval to participate in some games with your child. You can then spend the afternoon with your child/ren in their classroom until the end of the day. We really hope that you enjoy your special afternoon.

Friday treats
Friday 9th September is the last of our Friday winter treats before the end of term. Our treats will be cinnamon and/or jam donuts. We really hope that the children have enjoyed the variety of treats offered during these months. Term 4 will see the return of icy poles (in the hope that this makes the cold and rain go away)! More details will be sent via Compass at the beginning of Term 4.
Social events
We have several non-fundraising events scheduled until the end of 2022. The purpose of these is for you to engage and meet new members of our wonderful school in a non-school setting. These events are not associated with the school and are not fundraising events. Please come along and say hi!

Term 4 events
Saturday 22nd October - Family Portrait Day
We have organised for Vision Portraits to come to school and take photos for you of your family. We are just finalising everything with the company and will be sending out further information on this before the end of Term 3. If you would like to participate, make sure you save the date!
Grandparents/ Special Person’s Day – Friday 28th October
Plans are underway for this event and a lovely parent is busily coordinating all of this. We are in the process of getting an invite ready that the children can edit and give to their Grandparents/ Special People. We will be running a special lunch of Bakers Delight Pizza on this day (we will source GF options). Grandparents/ Special Persons are welcome to purchase lunch and eat it with your child/ren. We will then have an open classroom for the last session of the day.
We will also be running a bake sale (yes, we can hear some of you running for hills – ha ha). We will be leaving labelled plates and bags in reception at the beginning of Term 4 for you to collect should you wish to bake something. Further details will be sent home at the beginning of Term 4.
