On Monday the 29th of August Kingswood competed in the District Athletics Carnival. After receiving the results and waiting for a makeup event to take place for some events, I would like to congratulate the following students who will be representing Kingswood at division next term:

Xander Z: High Jump Under 9/10 Boys

Samuel K: High Jump 12/13 Boys

Jade T: 1500m U11 Girls

James I: Shotput U11 Boys

Felicity L: Long Jump, 200m U9/10 Girls

Wennie L: High Jump 12/13 Girls

Jaxon F: 100m U9/10 Boys

Jaxon F, Ethan P, Flynn G, Zac G: 4 x 100m Relay Under 9/10 

Over the last few weeks our Year 2 students have been enjoying completing some team building/problem solving challenges. It’s been great to see the students develop their ability to work in teams as well as their creativity when coming up with solutions. 

Students in Prep and Year 1 have been continuing to enjoy Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) activities. They have been familiarising themselves with different kinds of equipment as well as completing activities that challenge their bodies to move in different ways.
