Book Week 2022

St. Peter’s College celebrated The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book Week 2022 from 5 to 9 September 2022.

The 2022 Theme for 2022 is ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open’; a theme that includes looking at our Indigenous perspectives on country and dreaming stories, as the CBCA theme artist and Indigenous women Jasmine Seymour iterates “dreaming is not something that belongs only to the past - it is all around us now, then and always”.

Our Book Week page for 2022 will remain active for Term 4, as students browse the winners and honour books in the 2022 CBCA Awards in the four categories of Older Readers (upper secondary, Younger Readers (lower secondary), The Eve Pownall Non-Fiction category and the Picture Book of the Year. 

Together with your students, become reading detectives to answer some of the following questions as you take a journey into these amazing stories and information books by linking to information on all books on the Book Week 2022 page on SPACE HERE. ‘Iceberg’ : Q. Name four sea creatures that live in Antarctica? CLUE
