From the Kitchen

It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the kitchen with students preparing some delicious winter dishes.

 

Oven-baked spring rolls were a hit with everyone slicing, grating, and julienning plenty of fresh vegetables. After carefully wrapping the filling in thin pastry it was into the oven to crisp up. We served our crispy parcels with a tasty dipping sauce which was the perfect balance of salty, spicy, and sweet.

 

 

 

Next on the menu was a red lentil, tomato, and sweet potato curry served with yellow rice. The kitchen smelt amazing and was well reviewed by coaches Ben and Mark.

From Year 5

So far, we’ve enjoyed making spring rolls, minestrone, lemon and ricotta pasta, and feta and artichoke tortes.  We can’t wait to see what’s on the menu next!
