Year 2 Science

In Science on Wednesday 10 August we made boats out of different materials like foil and cardboard to see if they would sink or float. Some people brought extra things from home to help create their boats like bottles and containers. 

We then had a competition outside to see if the boats would sink or float by putting them in water. If they did float, then we put 'unifix' blocks on the boats to see who could hold the most and that person would win a special prize. If your boat sunk then game over! 

We had a lot of fun and want to thank all the parents who came to watch our competition!
