Interschool Swimming Carnival

On a beautiful Autumn’s Day, Wednesday March 1st, the Interschool Swimming Carnival  was held at the Mildura Waves complex 50m pool.  All swimmers gave of their best throughout the day.  Some highlights of the day were Luka Baudewyns coming second in all three of his swimming events, Nicholas Hahnel coming third in his butterfly event, Jafar Ibrahimi coming third in his freestyle event and the 13 year old boys coming third in their relay.  

 I would like to express a huge thank you to Miss O’Rourke for helping me with the supervision and organization of the swimming team.  I would also like to thank Cham Donato, Owen Beattie and Micah Graham for helping throughout the day with marshalling and for carrying our big marquee tent over some long distance! – You guys are legends!
