BBQ and Information Night

On behalf of the Red Cliffs Secondary College staff and student cohort, I would like to thank all families who attended the ‘Barbecue and Information Night’ that was hosted Tuesday evening. The night offered those in attendance opportunities to engage with teachers, and the presentations that were delivered by our school leaders and wellbeing team. The event was a success and provided a fantastic opportunity for Red Cliffs Secondary College staff, students, and families, to build a stronger connection to our community.

NAPLAN

‘The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy’ (NAPLAN) for students in grade 3, 5, 7, and 9 are held annually in March. As we dwindle into March 2023, students will begin preparing for the official NAPLAN test which will be held in week 8. The NAPLAN test window is able to be accessed between Wednesday 15th March – Monday 27th of March. The test must be completed within this window. All students will have the opportunity to complete a practice test next week to assist with their individual preparations.

Please note an information letter with further detail has been sent out and can be accessed on COMPASS, the Red Cliffs Secondary College website, and the Red Cliffs Secondary College social media accounts.

Uniform

As the cooler weather begins to approach us, please ensure all students have the appropriate winter uniform.  This includes the Red Cliffs Secondary College rugby jumpers, and softshell jackets as pictured below.  Trackpants are to be of either plain navy blue, or black in colour.

Uniforms are available now at Laser Sign and Print and can be ordered either online or in store. If your child is needing a winter uniform, please get in early to ensure students are well prepared for the winter months. Uniform infringements will not be tolerated.
