Uniform Reminders

As you will all be aware from previous communication, we will be reviewing some aspects of our Student Dress Code with our Student Representative Council, and School Council, to ensure that our students are warm, comfortable, and represent our College and our values with pride.

A reminder of our current expectations and school processes are as follows:

• Students can wear either sport or everyday uniform as long as it has the GSC logo on each item. 
• They may wear runners, unless they have a science prac or technology class, in which case they must have hard leather shoes, or work boots.
• There should be no other visible clothing under their uniform.
• Students who are going to be temporarily out of uniform must bring a parent note to school and see their sub-school for a uniform pass.
• Students who are out of uniform without a parental note will be asked to remove the incorrect item where possible (eg. a hoodie)
• 3 incidents out of uniform without a uniform pass will result in a lunchtime detention which are being run weekly by Principal Class.

We understand that there may be wellbeing, health, or sensory issues for students, and are very happy to work with families around uniform exemptions as needed. If you wish to discuss further, please contact a member of our wellbeing team.

Additionally, any families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact the school, and we will work to support you to ensure your children have correct uniform.
