Bonjour, c'est déjà la quatrième semaine du trimestre!

Hello, it's the fourth week of term already!

Le temps vole ! Time flies!

In the past fortnight students have recorded conversations in French, some just reading their lines and others challenging themselves to remember the whole conversation with actions too. Magnifique!

Why not practise these at home with your children every day?

"Bonjour! Salut!

Comment t'appelles-tu? Je m'appelle....

Comment ça va? Ça va bien, merci!

Quel âge as-tu? J'ai ... huit 8... ans.

Au revoir! À bientôt!"

Practice at home will certainly help them remember and own these basic but essential French phrases.

Foundation students are working well on learning these phrases too and their song "Bonjour mes amis" is in Activities on Seesaw. 

All students from Grade 3-6 are being encouraged to post something at the end of each French lesson so that they can show and monitor their progress. 

Topics in progress are:

"Les émotions" for Grade 5 and 6 

"Les sports" for Grade 3-4

"J'aime les Fruits" for Grade 1-2

"Bonjour mes amis" for Foundation

Students from Grade 3-6 are kindly reminded to come to French classes with their own headphones to facilitate a good working atmosphere for all!
