Year 10 Mock Interviews
Recently Year 10 Students were given the chance to participate in a simulated job recruitment process. After compiling a cover letter and resume, they then participated in a one-on-one interview with a college volunteer. Students were provided with feedback on their performance and areas to improve.
This great opportunity provided our students with a range of skills to ensure they are well equipped to seek part-time employment during their senior years if they so choose and develop skills that will be useful in the future. We are thankful for a range of new and regular community volunteers who support our Mock Interview Program.

VET Pathways 2022
It has been a busy year for the Endeavour Vocational Training Pathways Program with over 20 students participating in a wide range of courses. We have had students completing short courses in hospitality and food,
pre-apprenticeship programs in areas including construction, electro-technology and hair care along with students completing full
Certificate III programs in areas as diverse as Business, Dance, IT, Christian Ministry and Fitness. Including a VET course in a student’s SACE program provides opportunities for them to explore potential career options and develop job-ready skills.
Undertaking a VET course requires a considerable amount of work on top of school studies and we have been once again impressed with the capabilities demonstrated by our VET students. They have shown independence, responsibility and commitment. Many of our students have also completed work-placements in their chosen industry area in readiness to obtain an apprenticeship or paid work at the completion of their schooling. We also acknowledge the achievements of Jack Kretschmer and Lachlan Bown, who successfully undertook a School Based Apprenticeship as part of their Year 12 Studies in 2022. They were able to combine 2 days of paid work and training with their Year 12 studies and have seamlessly moved into full time work.
Congratulations to Caitlin Mundy who was awarded VET Student of the Year at our recent Valedictory Service. Cailtin completed the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care which included around 140 hours of placement. An outstanding effort to balance all of the various requirements on top of her studies. Congratulations to all our students below who completed full Certificate II or III courses throughout 2022.
