Dear Parents, Carers and Students of Chilwell PS, 

After great consideration, I have made the decision to conclude my coordination role of Chilwell Primary School’s OSHC program at the end of the school year. 

I did not make this decision lightly but it is the right decision for me at this time and I am grateful the school have been supportive of this decision. 

I have been the co-ordinator of the OSHC program for 7 years and involved in the program for over 10 years. I have loved every second of it, especially watching the children I have cared for grow and thrive. 

I have known I am a valued member of the Chilwell PS staff and I will miss the school and the community. I look forward to a great end of the year as I prepare to say farewell to Chilwell Primary School. 

I hope that the bonds and connections I have made will continue beyond the school and families will feel comfortable to say hello when we meet in the community.

The Chilwell staff, School Council and school community are so incredibly grateful to Cheryl for her commitment and leadership of the OSHC program for many, many years and we’re very sad to see her finish in this role. 

Cheryl informed leadership and the School Council recently of her decision and actions have been taken to plan for the changes to OSHC leadership and management for 2023 and beyond. 

This is currently being finalised and will be communicated with you in the very near future. As the year draws to an end, we’ll have the opportunity to thank Cheryl for her work and commitment to Chilwell PS and wish her well for the future. She will certainly be missed by us all.

Dear Families

By now all families should have download the new Xplor app as this is how we access all things OSHC related eg: enrolments, sign in/out, bookings, Debit Success - direct debit payments. If you have not yet download this app please do so ASAP then text me so i can forward you an invite to join to complete the process. I have repeatedly sent this invite to everyone as it is only available for 7 days. 

As previously advertised Chilwell OSHC is NO LONGER using Qkr as a form of payment, please if you have this app in your phone DELETE it.

All families wishing to use Chilwell OSHC will need to sign up with Xplor using the link below. 

Once you have created your account please download the Xplor Home App available on both the Google Play Store and Apple Store. 

The mobile phone app will give you the ability to: 

               View your statements at any time

               Sign your children out contactless using QR code scanning

               Pay for your statements at anytime

               .....and so much more.

FAQ's

I didn't get the email, what do I do?

Please contact us and we will ensure that your email address is up to date in our system, and re-send the email for you.

What if I already have an account with Xplor?

You will receive an email asking you to link our centre into your existing account. You will still use the same login details and you will be able to toggle between centres.

Can I still use a phone number and PIN?

Yes, you can. When you create your account through your email address you will be taken to a place where you can create your phone number and PIN code which we will still be using at our new Kiosk.

Hours of Operation

Enrolments 

All children must be enrolled in the program BEFORE they can attend. 

Registration 

A one off $10.00 enrolment fee enables you to use this service throughout your child’s entire school years. Please inform us of any changes to your enrolment details should they occur.

Bond

Families using the program are required to pay a refundable $50 bond per child.  This will either be refunded or taken off the final account when the family exits the program.

Fees

Childcare Subsidy System (CCSS)

CCSS is a form of fee relief available to families through Centrelink. Child care benefit works much like a Medicare system with the rebate, the percentage you are given by the family assistance office goes in to an equation that is processed by the computer and then gives out your fee for a session. 

Payment of Fees 

All fees are to be paid to the OSHC program or at the Chilwell Primary School Office. Cash and Eftpos is also available.  Accounts are processed weekly and payment is appreciated weekly.   Fees must be fully paid before the end of each term.
