Term 4 Week 10 2022 - Friday 25th November

What a year…

Miss Simos, Ms Shellie, Mr Earl, Jacqui, Miss Verrios and Ms K are so proud of the 1/2 students this year and have spent some time reflecting on the year they’ve had.  

On their first day the students came in well rested and ready for the year ahead. They were excited, nervous and eager to learn and make new friends. As the weeks and months progressed firm friendships were formed, many that will continue for life! They became proactive with their Reading, Writing, and Maths and embraced the 7 Habits language daily in the classroom. They demonstrated a sense of pride with their belongings and kept their classroom and school neat and tidy. 

The rest of the year saw us fall back into routines we hadn’t had for 2 years! The students got to go swimming, participate in the movie program and get through the year without any lockdowns and remote learning! 

By Term 4 the students had all grown so much taller and matured. Term 4 allowed teachers to consolidate student learning and reflect on the year that was, they also began to look forward to the year ahead. Students spent time with the Foundation students coming into Year 1 and enjoyed many laughs and fun times as Christmas approached.  

The 1/2 team would like to take this opportunity to thank all the 1/2 parents and families for their unwavering support. It ‘takes a village’ and we definitely have a fabulous one here at Le Page.  

We would also like to wish Miss Verrios all the best as she takes next year to work and travel! She has been a wonderful addition to Le Page this year who has brought joy and laughter to her classroom. Make sure you keep in touch!
