Presentation Evening

Another Successful Night!

A huge congratulations to all our students for another successful year of learning. Our annual presentation night was held on Thursday December 8 at Liverpool Catholic Club and celebrated the achievements of our students. We are so proud of our academic, sporting, leadership, cultural and performing arts achievers and recognise the crucial role that parents and carers play in the successes we share together. We cannot succeed as a school without the support of our wonderful families, and we thank you all for another positive year of learning!

We'd like to make special mention of two of our outstanding achievers: Sonny Sayaloune in Year 12, and Ivy Nguyen in Year 11. Sonny is our Year 12 Dux and received the ADF Future Innovators Award. This award recognises his skills and knowledge in the areas of mathematics and science. He also received multiple Academic Awards at his graduation last term. Congratulations, Sonny. Ivy came first in 4 of her courses and received 2 Special Faculty Awards, and a Year 11 Outstanding Student Award. Ivy is pictured above with her trophies, awards and medals. What an outstanding achievement, Ivy!

We'd like to offer a special thank you to our wonderful and talented elective music students for their performances on the night. They showed a great deal of talent and we appreciate the hard work and dedication involved in what it takes to prepare for a live performance. We thank their music teachers, Mr Sanchez and Mr Swindells for their hard work with their classes.

We also acknowledge the outstanding efforts of our Prefects, who demonstrated their professionalism during the evening. They played a significant role in the organisation of the event, ensuring the award ceremony ran smoothly. For those of you who were present during the ceremony, you witnessed our prefects expertly run the entire evening with poise and confidence. Congratulations to all our prefects for a job well done!

Finally, a sincere thank you to our special guests, Ms Anne Stanley MP, Mr Nick Magriplis, Ms Janene McPherson Ms Robyn Minici, and all of our wonderful students and their families, and everyone at JBHS. Your support is truly appreciated.

Academic Awards

We are proud of our Academic Award recipients. Academic Awards are given to students who have come overall first in their course. This means these students have come top in their entire grade.
