Reader of the Year!

Congratulations to Aden Tran of Year 9 for being our first ever Reader of the Year winner!

Aden borrowed (and read) a staggering 133 books in 2022! For this amazing achievement, Aden was presented with a fantastically designed certificate and a $30 gift card. Well done, Aden!

We also congratulated the following Readers of the Month as follows:

September: Tyler Gleeson Year 8

October: Eva Cavero Year 9

November: Mayesha Shaheed Year 7

All of our Readers of the Month receive a merit certificate and a $10 canteen voucher. They also get to have their photo displayed on our board!

We will be running this competition again next year so get ready to borrow some books! Our amazing collection is always growing, and we welcome suggestions.

Our 24/7 Virtual Library

During the school break (and during the term if you can't make it to our school library for any reason) don't forget you can borrow books from the comfort of your own home. These school holidays are a great opportunity to catch up on some reading.

Access our eLibrary anywhere, anytime, on multiple devices.

Log in with your DoE portal username and password and start borrowing.

There is a great selection of audio books on the site for those of you who like to have someone else read books aloud to you!

The link to the site is below.

Feel free to email me (Ms Khuder) if you need help borrowing abeer.khuder@det.nsw.edu.au

Have a wonderful break and see you for an exciting 2023!

Keep an eye out for all of our amazing Library Competitions - we will be offering loads of prizes. Our first one will be our Library Lovers Competition in February in honour of Valentine's Day.

If you find that you are bored during the break, visit your local library and find a good book and open it and READ!
