Art fun!

Art fun in Foundation 

Inspired by American painter Jackson Pollock, who poured and splashed paint onto a canvas, Foundation students had some messy fun last week in Art. Sometimes called ‘action painting’, we used the technique of dipping wool into paint to create a similar outcome 🎨🌈 

Upcycling paper shopping bags, some of the Foundation students have been creating fabulous masks:

Wonderful Weavers 

Year 1s have been working magic in Art learning challenging weaving techniques to create these beautiful wall hangings. Well done weavers! 

Taking our Art outdoors, some of the younger students have had a go at fence weaving  this term to brighten up our yards:

Year 2 students have been working on these bright self portraits inspired by the grid-style self portraits by American artist Chuck Close.
